Ceramic Sand, also named as ceramsite, cerabeads, ceramcast, is good artificial spherical grain shape which is made from calcined bauxite. Its main content is aluminum oxide and Silicon oxide. There are too many kinds of Ceramic sand in the market and no unified standard in the world. Generally, the Al2O3 percent is more higher, their refractoriness is more higher, currently 60% Al2O3 is the highest point of sintered ceramic sand. Our company is researching the 70% Al2O3 and testing.
